What We Offer

Why You Should Work With Us

The Ohio State University’s chapter of Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations offers pro-bono consulting work for Columbus-area nonprofits. Working over a ten-week project cycle, our consultants collaborate on a variety of deliverables, including things like rebranding, database management, improvement of internal processes, marketing, and others. Our teams are always up to the challenge to help you improve your business processes in any way that we can. Our projects consist of four student associate consultants led by one project manager. Each team works together to assist one of a variety of nonprofit clients we have chosen for the semester with clients spanning Columbus, Central Ohio, and Beyond.

We aim to expose our consultants to a variety of real-world business functions and problems in order to provide meaningful deliverables to our clients.

Improving their crafts education program, marketing for their Winterfair event, and general fundraising. We have met with the client multiple times to share our ideas, and have meetings after general body every week. The best part about the team is how motivated and passionate everyone is about their tasks. We also enjoy talking about our days and our hobbies on our walks after weekly meetings.”

The marketing plan consisted on research done on the topic along with a plan to help RUUL better leverage their social media platforms to increase engagement. Our team met virtually with RUUL every other week, and at the end of the semester, we attended their Thanksgiving dinner event in-person. This has included a social media/marketing plan, as well as helping them create lasting relationships across Columbus and more specifically at Ohio State. We especially enjoyed going out into the campus to conduct surveys about what students currently think about Goodwill, which ultimately helped guide the rest of our project. Overall, we have had a blast working with Goodwill Columbus and we hope to make a lasting impact on their organization.”
