SCNO Presents: Annual Case Competition
Put your consulting skills to the test in a real-world case setting! No prior consulting experience is necessary.
Students will be placed into teams (randomly) and tasked with creating and presenting suggestions for improvement of a specific issue/goal for a local nonprofit organization. This issue/goal could involve anything from marketing to volunteer engagement- it will be very dynamic and will be accessible to a diverse skillset. The organization and the issue/goal for which you will consult will be discussed in detail on the day of the competition; you will not know the specific content of the competition beforehand. At the end of the day, students will present their suggestions in front of a panel of judges from the Columbus nonprofit and consulting communities. Dinner will be provided at the end of the competition and refreshments will be provided throughout the competition. For those interested in the nonprofit sector specifically, this case competition is especially useful as it will allow you to work on real-life nonprofit issues while also meeting professionals from the Columbus nonprofit community.
